About Pelota
Pelota is a free and open source 3D tennis game made with the Godot engine. Its goal is tennis that feels like tennis: a ball with real physics, players who move like athletes, strokes that reward timing and footwork, and an opponent that thinks.
Pelota is Spanish for ball.
The project
Pelota is developed in the open on GitHub by mbkma and contributors. Everyone is welcome to help.
License
The game’s code is released under the GNU General Public License v3. The game template it started from (Maaack’s Godot Game Template) is MIT-licensed. Third-party assets and tools, with their authors and licenses, are listed in ATTRIBUTION.md.
